Erwin has carved more than 250 birds of various species. The quality of his work is evidenced by the many awards, ribbons, and trophies he has received from carving competitions up and down the East Coast, including the prestigious Ward World Competition. In addition to his birds, Erwin creates delicate feather pins, small birds for adorning your Christmas tree, and flat artwork in oils and acrylics. He has written six instructional books on bird carving which have been sold nationwide.

If the bird of your choice is not readily available, Erwin will gladly accept your commission and create for your a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in wood and paint.
